1 Year from Proposal ^.^

So like on the 12th May this year is one year after Josh proposed. Haha ^.^ If you keen on grandmother story you can go and read lah =D

And so this year we wanted to go back to White Rabbits one but they have a wedding on that day =((( So we decided to go for ramen instead =D Nevermind lah i also very love Japanese food.

My super flavourful fried rice =DDD AND!!!!
One of the rare few gyoza i love!!! I usually don't love gyoza cox they always put fat chunks of meat that is unchewable i don't know what is it actually. But this one is sooooo juicy and meaty and super yummy!!! And the skin. Omg. It's at Millennia Walk (Parco side) Level 3. You'd see a big "Itadakimasu" or something. Walk towards that food area, enter from the left side, keep walking til the end at the corner is the shop. I don't know the name sorry! It's Shio and Samantha introduce one.
Ramen that Josh ordered. We didn't find it nice cox it's like crab broth or something. Just go with their usual tonkatsu! That is good!!! =D Okay i blog finish liao.

As you can see. This post is to bluff you to come read me one. Lolol. But not that bad also becox i shared a place that sells nice gyoza with you. Haha.

Also also, if you're free tomorrow (Weds) you can drop by JRunway lah! Remember the JStar contest they were running? Where the winner gets to fly to Japan for modelling course and to get in touch with the fashion industry in Japan and watch fashion show etc! AND! Get paid for modelling / advertisement etc? Yeah they picked out the contestants already!

And tomorrow is the final showdown haha. I'd be one of the judges along side a SCawaii model from Japan!!! That is huge right?! =O So come and say hi if you're free tomorrow!

SO WHY IS IT SOOOOO AWESOME?!

You may squeeze it, it'd still hold a shape!
So you see. The bubbles formed from conventional hand-lathered foam is definitely bigger, and much more unevenly sized and unrefined. Whereas the marshmallow whip facial foam bubbles are fine and dense and evenly sized! =D

And why is denser foam made out of smaller bubbles better?!

As you can see, the foam on the left (Biore Marshmallow whip) is thick, fluffy foam. You can barely see any empty spaces cox the bubbles are soooo small, dense and kept-together. Whereas on the right (conventional hand-lathered foam), you can still see big, medium, small bubbles.

I did this quick demo to show you how the marshmallow whip facial foam from Biore is by default better already.

I press it down on a sheet of paper. Imagine that is your face. On first contact with the foam.
And then you see! Sure if you rub around with conventional facial foam, like how you scrub a cooking pan's burnt mark, you can also cover the rest of your face but THREE THINGS.

1) Why do you even need to do that when the Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Foam already gives you good smooth coverage on the FIRST contact with your skin! Just gently spread it around!

2) The size of the bubbles from conventional hand-lathered foam is still bigger and more uneven anyway! So its cleansing ability is still not gonna be as good as the Biore Marshmallow whip foam cox it cannot go deep into pores to clear impurities and oil and dirt.

QWeekly - Knowing yourself

I wanna talk.

Earlier today i instagrammed a picture, using a picture from a previous OO7D feature. And i ask on instagram, for people to hashtag #OO7D if they want to have their outfits featured on QWeekly. The purpose of this is so that i can click the hashtag and then sift out the suitable ones. Right?

And by the way, OO7D = Outfit Of 7 days.

So initially it was doing alright. Quite a number of people hashtag their outfit pictures. Which i am happy about lah! Thank you guys for being so responsive!!! =D

BUT. There has to be that few people who have to fucking ruin everything.

I didn't monitor the hashtag for just like 1 hour, cox i went to nap. I woke up and Sophie text to say she is so grossed out for me, about the OO7D hashtag. So i went to see.

500 over pictures. Half relevant, half irrelevant.

Let's talk about the relevant ones first.

Out of the half that are relevant (meaning the pictures are indeed outfit pictures), 45% is mirror self-shots of their ootds. Dark, blur, pixelated. Sigh.. I really don't wanna sound like a meanie but HAVE YOU NOT SEEN OO7D? The standard of pictures that have been featured on OO7D so far are all really really good. If you have not seen, then you shouldn't join. If you wanna join something, you should at the very least find out what you're joining. And in this case blurry dark mirror self-shots just won't do.. Unless you're Cheesie. Lol.

And then another 45% are from people who only take OOTD pictures once in a blue moon. So i can't exactly feature them cox for OO7D to happen i need at least 7 outfits, right? So same thing, if you'd seen what OO7D is about, you wouldn't have hashtag your OO7D becox you're not very into showing people what you wore and how you style it etc. So why?

So that is 90% hope gone. But thankfully, in the end i manage to find about 15 good ones. Thank you girls so much. Thank you!!! If you know you hashtagged relevant pictures, please don't take anything i said to heart becox it's 100% not meant for you!

OKAY.

Now i wanna talk about the irrelevant one.

I'd cut it short.

Anyone who hashtag OO7D with their face shots, multiple face shots even, with their doggy pictures, with them and their doggy and cleavage, and blogshop who hashtag their stupid collection picture with OO7D, i hope you all have a very very bad week and everything will go badly for you.

HERE I AM TRYING TO PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER WITH A SYSTEM for people who are genuinely keen in showcasing outfits and there you are

Mask.. Mask.. Masksss

Before makeup and preparation.. I slap on the SexyLook Super Hydrating Duo Lifting Mask
At the photoshoot haha. Makeup stay much longer cox skin feels SUPER hydrated (as the mask says haha) and it doesn't turn cakey / face doesn't oil up as fast as it usually does! I think it's cox my face is hydrated from the mask, so it doesn't produce more oil to keep my skin hydrated ^.^

Before attending an event!!!
After using the mask you'd notice your skin becoming more glowy instantly kinda like translucent crystal clear effect. But of course i suggest you don't only depend on the mask lah. Masks to me are like instant effect that can last you through a day. So i always use masking for before-occasions! ^.^

I just headed for filming at Koh Samui remember!
To prepare myself for a loooooong day of filming haha, i used the But, Becky Age-Lock and Moisturising Wild Yam mask! Got moisturising and age lock anti wrinkle effect lol. Much needed cox if not i might shrivel under the sun hahaha. We set off at 8am i think. And picture on the right is how i look at 6.30pm. Not bad ah!!! Haha.

Next day in Koh Samui it's sunshine and more sunshine!!!!!! =OOO Scary thing for ladies =X So sunblock, and sufficient nutrient for the skin from masking is essential!

Last good through the day to evening time =DDD This is me having dinner by the beach very romantic hor lolol.

Sometimes i wonder if everyone.. Just for one moment.. Believe that they can want anything..

With no limitation on what, who, how, where and why..

What would they wanna be..

What would you do? And who do you wanna do it with? And where do you wanna do it?

Do you sometimes ask yourself these questions?

Or maybe you don't do such boh liao thinking / daydreaming 

I have many little big dreams.. And i feel it's all gonna come true. But sometimes it's just.. The way there is confusing.. And it can be upsetting.. And a lot at times, life throws you misleading signs. You know you're supposed to follow the signs and go with the flow instead of fighting it but how do you do it when your self-belief is strong? I assume that cox someone who doesn't believe in herself will not be upset when life tries to test her belief and patience. Haha.

Okay i ask you.. When you eat durian, do you insist on opening the final thin wedge? I do. I will insist my dad / the durian seller to open up the thin wedge. And even thou 9 out of 10 times i'd be disappointed, i still believe with all my heart each time, that there will be (a bit of) durian inside that thin wedge.

And this is a problem i have! I am a little bit insane sometimes. Not all the time. Just sometimes. About some things i feel strongly about. And i don't feel strongly about a lot of things.

Things i feel strongly about are like.. I must clean the headboard of my bed EVERY NIGHT before i sleep. And that there should be extra food leftover on the table at the end of the meal, if i am paying for the meal. And that you should never like your own picture on instagram. Haha.

I don't think i wanna explain why i am persistent about those stuff, you can figure it out. But actually you don't have to understand.. I am sure there are somethings you do, that i'd never understand haha.

And it's okay, i'd never go leave you a comment telling you how you are nasty and how you suck.

What was i talking about. About insanity + positivity. Right. Positivity to believe each time you do something that didn't get you results the last time you did it. I think it's a crazy exciting ride.

But at the same time i feel life itself is a continuous effort of wanting and achieving and wanting more and anticipating and then getting it all and then finding other things to find.

Unless of course if you're into zen and want nothing but the sound of water and a grass mat haha.

Only when i look at babies and kids/ when i'm in Disneyland, and when i'm looking at the sky / looking at the sea.. Will i feel like.. "Okay, i am good already" Like that moment i don't need to pursue more things. But then again, when i get to reality, i realise i have needs.. To be a better person, to be more capable. To provide. To protect. To make people i love proud of me.

After listening to songs that makes me happy and blogging all these random shit out, i have decided that no matter how sometimes i might feel tired, helpless and insignificant..

I have to remember to say YES.

Say YES to myself. Yes, let's go again. Yes, let's give it one more try! Yes, you're awesome. Yes, of course! Yes, let's make it happen! Yes, you're right! Yes, you can! YES, ME!

Becox no matter how many times the durian is not there.. At least i never give up believing.

I love Laneige

Holding the NEW Firming Sleeping Pack =D As if the original sleeping is not already super awesome enough!!! I think this is going to be one of my new favourite from Laneige! =D

It's like this soluble jelly!!! It's exactly like jelly, but flowy one i don't know how to explain so you just look at the picture! When you scoop into it, it had these dents from the scooped out portion right? Within 20 seconds it'd be back into the jelly form which won't break unless you scoop in again!!!! So.. This explains the title.

It's me again on the cover of QWeekly O.O

Becox i've been wayyy too busy i don't really have time to invite other bloggers for the cover shoot =( Say real one although i really like seeing nice pictures of myself, i really also super love seeing pretty pictures of others, especially so if i play a part in dolling them up lah.

After this post, i hope when you say "YAHLah" you think of food.

Yummy And Healthy food. And as older people / naggier people will say "It's all for your own good" I am going to tell you the same thing.. What i am going to bug you from now on about.. Is all for your own good.

You guys know i have migraine right? Really bad migraine. By really bad, i mean really freaking bad. You can read about my post HERE. I have all the effects of migraine.

I usually like to avoid talking about it becox i believe talking about it will remind me and my body of it and it will come more often. And when it hits me (always suddenly, out of nowhere), i'd get blind spot which will immediately make me near disabled, numbness at my limbs, at my tongue, i'd feel super duper nauseous like i need to puke my guts out cox nothing in my body seems right inside. And with all these together, there will be the actual migraine - The worst headache you can imagine.

The kind of pain that goes from your shoulder to neck to your head.

And panadol won't help. Caffox (which only helps my blind spot) also won't ease the pain.

There will only be me in a room.. With lights off. Sometimes maybe i'd play some soft music.

Sometimes the sound of my cries and scream and me hitting my own head to apply pressure on it to temporarily soothe the pain. Accupotomy already helped improve the situation a lot. But i doubt i'd go back again becox after acupotomy, if i wear heels / have slightly less than perfect posture, my whole neck down to my spine will just behave like a stiff bitch. So..

Basically i have no help.

I only have myself and God. I don't know which God. But just someone bigger, better. Who knows more. And i choose to believe he put me through this since i was 13, for a good reason.

Maybe it's to justify for my pain, to make myself feel better.

But maybe i really am supposed to be better than who i am now.

You might or might not believe but i was so helpless and lost yesterday. Cox migraine hit me at about 3pm yesterday. I got better at 5pm. And it came back at 8pm or so.

I was like.. Really? Me again? There's only one fucking person in the world who can suffer this at one time, is it? And i have to cover double shift today?! REALLY?!

So it lasted til 5am.

I was battling it. You know when you refuse to let something get you down, you fight it. You do better than it. You handle more than what it throws you. But this really just tear me apart. Like.. What's my life gonna be? No matter how much money i earn, how many pretty clothes i buy, i am always open to this pain.. SO. I was really thinking of giving up. And by giving up, i mean maybe go to the A&E and ask for a morphine jab or some shit, to stop the pain. But i can't. Becox if i give up one time, my body would need higher measure to counter it the next time.

I started with panadol. Then it lost its effect then i move on to a few other medication before i thought i found 仙丹 Caffox. Now caffox can only fix my blind spot. It doesn't help anything else anymore.

So i refuse to get more serious drugs. WHY DO I NEED SERIOUS DRUGS.

WHY CAN'T THIS FUCKING THING JUST LEAVE ME ALONE. I was so angry and frustrated i cried so badly. And sometimes.. I really feel like only dying could take me away from the pain but i don't wanna die lah!!! My life is really quite awesome i just cannot die!!!

So at 3am, Michelle told me "You really have to take this seriously.. You eat outside food everyday and you know how much MSG they have..?" She is right.

MSG is also one of the main trigger for migraine.

Equally harmful as cured / preserved food.

So. Right at the second.. I finally manage to find reasoning in all the stupid shit i have been going through for 13 years.. I need to eat healthy and i can't just stop there. I have to advocate healthy-eating becox only by doing this, i can continue to motivate myself while i encourage others. They say you have to walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

I am still trying to be motivated to LIVE healthy (like example by sleeping in the correct timezone lol and by exercising at least a little bit a day) but you know what they say.. Baby steps. Exercising is really not easy =X I hope maybe Punggol open a indoor swimming pool, ah maybe then! Haha.

And "eating healthily" really sounds right for me becox you also know, my favourite food is McDonald's and crispy bacon and lots and lotsa ba you pok (deep fried pork lard) and chocolate and super ring and potato chips and all sort of things that has heavy flavouring and taste.

Think of anything deep fried, unhealthy, tasty with lotsa flavour, think of me. It is me. Becox you are what you eat. Or at least that's what many people say haha.I am walking piece of pork lard haha.


So anyway. I finally found meaning in the pain i go through. And like i said, that is, to encourage more people to eat greener, healthier, cleaner. So today i woke up before Josh and he was half-awake and i was changing out to head out and he ask me "Where you going so early?"

I said "I am going to the market" He jumped up awake and was like "HUH?"

That's right. Hahaha. So i went to the market and bought lotsa colour. Red and orange and green and white. Food in their natural form are really beautiful.

So i am calling this journey YAHLah!

YAH - Yummy And Healthy

Becox i always tell people who nag at me to healthier, "yah lah yah lah" Patronising them.

But now YAHLah has a whole new meaning!!! =DDD Today i posted the lunch i cooked on instagram (@bongqiuqiu) and the response was quite good! Thank you guys who shared more yummy and healthy recipes with me by hashtagging #YAHLah =DDD

This is what i made for lunch! Eating healthy is MUCH MUCH easier and enjoyable than i thought. Becox you can throw in things you like, just don't "contaminate" them with too much flavouring ha!
Sliced zucchini and halved cherry tomatoes. Then i chill them in the fridge.
Mash up the hard boil eggs (actually one would be good enough but i thought that will be too little so i got a little greedy haha) with a fork and while doing that, sprinkle a tiny bit of seasalt and pepper!
Bring out the chilled tomatoes and zucchini and then drizzle your favourite sauce over it! Drizzle ah, don't pour haha. I would have poured if i was me one day ago. But i am a changed person now.
So there you have! Appertizing salad (i used Japanese roasted sesame salad dressing, but the milky kind of sesame sauce is super yummy and awesome too) and your mashed egg to go with bread! If you like cheese you may layer cheese before you scoop on the eggs ^.^ It is very very yummy.

From someone who loves everything extra, Cai Tao Kway extra black, extra egg, Mee Pok extra minced pork and deep fried pork lard, Nasi Lemak extra egg, in fact, every dish that i can add extra eggs, i won't let it pass. I ask Josh what other kind of food i always wanna add something "EXTRA"

He say "Basically everything" He is right. Even chicken rice i'd ask for extra of the salty sesame oil with soya sauce. Why am i like this. My kidneys confirm hate me lol.

From someone like me a day ago, to me today.. I think it's a pretty huge leap. You can praise me, thank you =D Hahaha. I hope more than that, you can join me. I am not going to preach.

I still love McDonald's a lot. I still love KFC. I still love Pizza Hut. I still am going to add extra pork lard when i eat noodles (i am sorry, for this one i might have to go to pork lard rehab centre to quit lol), i still love all the food that's out there.

But all i am saying is.. I will start adding in fresh, healthy food, fruits and more vegetables into my diet. And i strongly encourage you to! Becox there might be afterlife.. But there's only one body to take care of this life. And i really did see a ray of hope when the idea of "Healthier food" came to me last night.. I hope this light will continue to shine bright.

Stay healthy. That's the best we can do for ourselves and for the people who love us.

Before i introduce more to you, just wanna find out what's the method you use for hair removal?

I used to shave (a chore cox i have to do it every 1 - 2 days), and then i tried over-the-shelf wax strips (messy cox lotsa leftover to clean up after) and then i tried epilator (most painful shit ever) and then i tweeze (time-consuming) and then i went for QPX which worked but i stop going after 4 session =X

At my one-to-one consultation with the aesthetician at Datsumo Labo! She is very very friendly and knowledgeable!!! And she shared with me lotsa information about our hair and it's very useful for me to better understand how the treatment will work!

Yeah, this is me looking serious.

And me continue yabbering on about how i usually remove unwanted hair.

Filling in details for them to better evaluate if i am suitable for the treatment. Becox if it's beyond the acceptable skintone, laser treatment could burn someone's skin. BUT many clinics are doing it regardless. And it's very bad. But at Datsumo Labo, if your skin is not suitable for their treatment, they will tell you during the consultation so you don't get to go through agony and pain!

So you see.. Consultation is VERY important! They are more focused in making sure the treatment will do you good than to earn your money by hardselling! So don't worry about pushy sales talk etc!

Ah ah ah, the special gel! This is one crucial part that makes the treatment at Datsumo Labo better than most other hair removal salons!!! Read on!

Datsumo Labo adopts the latest hair removal method that is based on "Smooth Skin Control"

S.S.C treatment controls the function of the hair with the effect of the gel and the irradiation, and when used in the treatment together with the "Krypton" (a machine developed for Japanese market by DEKA in Italy), hair will gradually change to thin and inconspicuous hair.

So it doesn't matter what hair you have at first, it will all become almost invisible! Kinda like baby hair, soft, thin and sparse! And it will at the end of the course of treatment, become totally unseenable by naked eyes =DDD Awesome!

So this is what's gonna happen!

First they remove the edge of your hair with a special trimmer that is gentle on your skin.

The gel is applied! And it's specially imported from Japan. It's $17 per 1kg (VS the ordinary gel most salons use, which is $5) O.O Quite expensive hor!

It contain fillinieve that whitens our skin and weakens the hair! Skin becomes smooth and will be lightened by whitening ingredients in the special bean gel! And it won't do damage to the skin =DDD
And it's not painful one!!! If you do IPL before you will know there is a bout of short sharp pain using ordinary hair removal treatment, this is becox the irradiation damages not only the hair root, but also the skin. So you'd feel pain like a ant bite / short sharp burning pain. AND WORST PART IS, after the treatment, you might get dark patches on your skin =OOO I've seen dark armpits from IPL before!!! Looks bad. It just looks bad. I rather you have some hair than to have dark armpits =X

However, S.S.C Treatment has minimal pain thanks to the gel it feels gentle on my skin! Like a shot of warmth to the skin! Quite comfortable ad therapeutic actually! =D

Air Asia X Budget Barbie goes to Koh Samui and Tawau ^.^

Reached the airport too early becox i usually very scared got long queue at check-in counters so i'd kiasu a bit and go like 2.5 hours earlier =X Lolol. But then i was told about the self check-in kiosk! You can check-in and get your boarding pass here =D So i completely skipped the queue! =DDD
And there is also the AirAsia mobile app where you can check in too =DDD So if you're even more kiasu than me haha, you can use this mobile app to check in while you're still at home!

Then you don't have to rush lah. One more thing good about the app is the travel guide! =D You can find out what are the things to do and where are the places to eat before you fly over! So convenient and considerate for us users cox it's now so easy for us to plan our trip =D Do download it from the Apple store or Android Marketplace ok =D

After you checked in, if you have 1 piece of luggage / sports equipment (like your surfboards or diving equipment etc) to check-in, then go to the Express Bag Drop counter!

But if you have more than one piece of luggage to check-in then you'd have to go to normal baggage drop lah. But it's still faster than normal check-in counters becox the people in that line would have already checked-in at the kiosk or with the AirAsia mobile app.

If you noticed, there are seats with red headrests and some others at the back with black headrests. The ones marked red are HOT SEATS!!! You may chope these seats when booking flight online haha.

At a small fee of course! But i totally think it's worth it!!!! Becox you look at me lah! Already all settled in my seat when the rest are still streaming in and waiting for the line to move.

Becox with HOT SEATS, you get priority boarding!!! AND if you're at row 1, you get extra leg room AND since you're seated quite in front, you get to alight first also lah! So all in all you save a lot of time and your trip is more comfortable without all the trying to get pass someone else and their overhead luggage. Haha.

YAY MEAL TIME!!!!!!! You all know i major super loveeee airplane food one hor?!?! =DDD Got to try the AirAsia's Thai Green Curry Chicken with rice and IT IS YUMMY!!!!!!! Do you know that they update their menu every 2 months?! =DDD So exciting one!!! Cox there is always something to look out for on their menu card =DDD Once again, I LOVE AIRPLANE FOOD. Haha.
The chicken chunks are really soft i think they use only thigh meat leh! I saw on the lid cover one. Haha. But what i love most is the green curry gravy!!!! Very very fragrant! Thick and saucey. LOVE.
And then you see, cox i get to alight first and chiong to the bus that'd bring us from the plane to the terminal hahaha. So i got to sit comfortably lah!!! If not must stand =X Hahaha. Not that i have a problem with standing, it's just.. I'd rather sit. Haha.
Deng deng deng~ Arrived in Bangkok~!!! Saw AirAsia like EVERYWHERE in the airport @.@ And their liveries are all very interesting one!!! Like this one you see here is King of Muay Thai and then the one behind says "Now Everyone Can Fly!" Just keep a look out for their planes haha. You'd always see something different and fun!
This is from my Bangkok trip just recently! I strongly suggest you stop by Bangkok!!! Go enjoy the city life and cheap shopping etc!!! Make full use of this route mah. Though you're already paying much lesser than the usual flights offered from Singapore to Koh Samui, if you stop by Bangkok you're actually visiting TWO places at an already cheaper rate haha.
I just want to tell you this tuna side dish i had at DMK airport is awesome. DMK airport (In BKK also!) is very near JJ Market so that's another plus point for choosing this route =D

At the ferry terminal (Donsak Pier). Once you get here you can already feel.. Serenity O.O Real one. Whole place just very breezy and chilaxing like this.

Which is $1.60 O.O Inside will have rice, meat, egg / vege!!!
And so we got to Koh Samui!!! First thing to do! FIND FOOD!!! =DDD Seafooood!!! =DDD

They cook it fresh for you on the grillbar! I ordered Salmon steak with mango sauce and IT'S THE BEST SALMON STEAK I'VE HAD!!!!!!!!! Big generous chunky portion of salmon and crispy on the outside one!!!! And the salmon skin omg totally missing it now!!! I didn't take pictures of it cox i already chomp it down for filming so watch the video!!! =DDD
And when the night comes, if you walk around Koh Samui ah, you'd find little cafes, pubs and bistro all cozily lit up =))) I love night light-up!!! They look beautiful.
Next day~! The famous Chaweng beach!!!
Water is sooooooo clear and then it becomes a gradient that turns blue and then it turn turquoise and meet the blue sky!!!!! ='D Best way to describe it is.. It's very popular page worthy. Lololol.

And then we went for lunch. THE CHEAPEST SET MEAL THAT IS MOST VALUE FOR MONEY!!! I ordered something that is like $5. It says comes with a pork side dish i think, along with omelette and rice, and then fruits and drink. So i'd think the side dish will be small portion right. BUT NO MAN. Came in a BIG plate!!! Like those zi-char serving one!!!

My elephant is ultimate cutest one and it's of the smallest size and her name is Cartoon ^.^ Or maybe it's Ga Doon. It was eating a big leaf while trekking through the jungle. I damn scared when she raise her trunk cox two elephants in front of her, the elephant pick up dust and then blow it at the person hahaha
Can track through water also one. And then can you see what's behind me?! It's a waterfall!!! You can go there after elephant trekking!

Saw this fly-thru sign. It's for people with connecting flights to other countries, NOT HAVING TO RE-Checkin your baggage cox they will be checked direct to your destination AND!!! You don't have to checkout and check-in again!!! =DDD
Massive connections where AirAsia flies! Once you're in KL you can connect to a lot more places as KL is the hub for AirAsia!
At immigration. It's not crowded and congested like the other main airport in KL hor! Love it!

The fish and that plate of vegetables is crazy yums!!!! The prawns are just boiled but they are very fresh! You can dip with lime and chili padi if you like! I like it that way! NEXT DAY!
We went to the chocolate factory in Tawau! ^.^ This skirt i bought from an emporium in Tawua one. $2 only O.O Major cheap. Oh and look!!! The in-charge in the chocolate factory whipped up all these for us!!! =DDD they are all very friendly and hospitable!

Helloooo!!!

I hope youve been fine. I have been trying to stay healthy and stay motivated and not be demoralised by falling sick despite my effort in eating healthier. You know.. Just trying to stay sane and convince myself that god is not out to tekan me but to make me stronger~ THAN YESTERDAYEH~ Hahaha.

But don't worry!!! WO HEN POSITIVE DE!!!! =DDD Just the other day i was in the toilet and i look into the mirror and i was like "What if i just give up and be a sick loser" and then within 1 second..

"Oh, no, not I, I will survive~!!! Ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne~ Ne ne ne ne ne ne ne~ Ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne~ NE NE NE NE~ NE NE NE NE NE NE NE~~~!!!!"

Maybe i should start learning lyrics of songs that i think will motivate me. Lol.

But it's okay. I was dancing to it. Tiffany and Drago loved it so much, i could tell. I don't think they care if i know the lyrics hahaha. What was i gonna blog about today..

You know i gave myself like 3 or 4 days off previous week? And there was no QWeekly? I mean i tweeted that there won't be any QWeekly that week cox i need to rest.

And in that few days.. I realise..

I need the internet more than the internet needs me. You guys don't need me. I need you guys. I love the attention i get online. I love knowing that there are people looking at me, reading what i have to say. And i enjoy it. But i can't make this "supplying to people, to satisfy myself" thing my life.

It's like.. I love blogging a lot. A LOT. I love to blabber nonsense i love to talk crap and share about my life. And very quickly i just wanna tell you about the staycation at The Sultan Hotel! Thanks to Nuffnang for helping me liaise, i went back for a staycation to celebrate the June Babies birthday!

This time round we had a loft suite and it is SO NICE. My family popped by cox they stay really near the hotel and they don't want to leave after that! Thank you The Sultan!!! =D

Just very chillax and comfortable cox the daybed is perfect to nua-sai haha. And the whole attic loft thing is so like.. Unique? Like you're safe at the loft, camping and sleeping away. Omg i wanna go back soon already. Really quite shiok. Some more so near to food and entertainment. You see lor. We had Thai food for dinner and went to Lavendar foodcourt at night for supper after our KTV.

Snack all day long, watch cable tv, chillax, drink with friends and family, chit-chat, eat, chill some more, KTV, supper. Staycation is.. One word, Awesome.

Josh got us A LOT of tarts and macaroons etc. I LOVE. June babies Gem, Me and Mich with September baby Zhen haha. She hen ke lian, forever extra. Lol. After some beer......
 And that's baby Yurou joining us in the day earlier ^.^ She's so big now and she can say A LOT of stuff. Mostly rude stuff like "我打你啊!" or "走开啦" =__= But she also know how to say a lot of sweet stuff lah. Like if you climb something she will say "小心啊 不要跌倒" =D She later fell asleep and the adults all pig out with snacks and drinks before we actually went for Thai food haha.
Some time in the night Gem saw this picture of Jesseca Liu and FYI she have always claim that she look like Jesseca Liu (bing bu hui lololol) and then so zhun Jesseca Liu was on some red sofa and the daybed at The Sultan hotel also is red one. So.. The rest you can see lah. My friend delusional. Lol. I help her lah, help her photoshop in Jesseca Liu de background lol.
Next day they both super happy to go see Baby Dash =DDD I had soooo much fun looking at his gazillion expression hahahah. And he's soooo chubs O.O Look at those thighs. Thank you Wendy for having us ^.^ Really is a sweet and cute last-stop for our staycation.

Sup. I want to ask you something very serious one. I am going to do a makeup tutorial since many have asked me to share how i do my day makeup now, how i draw my eyebrows (not sure if i can always get it right haha) etc. So i am going to do a makeup tutorial but i don't know if i should do a more elaborate version, or a cleaner one (which is something i'm doing more often lately).

You see pictures lah, then tell me which one i should do! Or if i should do the day makeup and then another time (which might be months later or next year lol) then do the more elaborate one.

Sorry ah these pictures are taken by my iPhone =(( Becox i lost my camera de cable so i can't charge it so it's dead now. But i promise to go buy it soon and after that i'd post more pictures okay =D

This one no edit colour, the sunlight is real one =DDD Cabs are like mobile photo studio. Lol.
So like this kind of makeup would probably take me 10 minutes. Very simple and fast one. And like got makeup look like no makeup like this haha. It's what i do every other day now.



I did this makeup look at a Laneige workshop =DDD
I've never been to a workshop so generous before one @.@ Full range of full size products for the participants and we get to keep them =OOO I feel quite bad lah cox prior to this Laneige already sent me like ten thousands products for the advertorial earlier. They are very nice and i am super thankful cox i love their products so much even before all these!!! =DDD

So back to my camho shots! I love the Blonde Coral lipstick from Laneige silk intense series!!! Apparently it's sold out everywhere in Korea and Singapore. The Laneige Singapore had a hard time getting each of us one. HENG WE GET BECOX I REALLY LOVE IT!!! =DDD Very natural and  blushy pink! And moisturising ^.^

Something towards these?! Heavier on the eyes and i'd show you some of my favourite lashes and where i got them from (cheap! haha) and my favourite bright colour lipsticks from YSL!!! And some of my favourite concealers and double eyelid stickers and brow concealer etc!!!

OR. You prefer like this, clean and simple, and quick! It's good for everyday makeup! =D

Simple ponytail with volume =D

Sup sup sup! I did a video on how to tie a pony tail that allows you to have volume where you want it to! Especially for those who share the same problem as me, FLAT CROWN. Like the weight of my ponytail always pull my crown down and i know you can use the twisting method to create a pouf on the crown but that one a bit princessy.



So this is for those who just want the simplest ponytail, but with volume at the crown and at the sides also if you like =D And you can just pull each sides, without affecting the other sides haha. I learnt this method from Shio one. I always wonder why he tie my ponytail and i tie my ponytail is different result one. Lol. So the last time he tied a ponytail for me, i pay more attention and so i'm sharing it with you =DDD You're welcome ah. It's really really simple actually! Just watch the video! =D

With the nicest team i've met!!! From HER WORLD magazine! With Lolent the hair and makeup artist, Alice the stylist and Ankita the writer! =D They are all really friendly and easy to work with!

So i'm gonna be on HER WORLD July!!! I think it's gonna be an issue about bargains and discounts or something. So there's a part on Budget Barbie and where i like to shop and some shopping tips!

I am quite excited to see it ^.^

It's very subtle but i love the effect of the fat grafting on my chin more and more =O Didn't think it'd be much of a difference at first but actually it does show up in pictures quite nicely!
Okay okay, last of my camho shot. The purple is on my hair is beautiful and it's very lasting O.O

So i am on my way to conquer every magazine hahaha. If i don't get to go on a cover, IT IS OKAY!!! I get inside!!! Haha. Last time when i was modelling part time i appear in Teens, HER WORLD Bride, SHAPE and Women's Weekly before. Now i tick off Cleo and HER WORLD. Hahaha. Also when i was joining some TV show before, i appear in i-Weekly and 8 Days interview with the contestants. Lolol. Okay now what's left to conquer. I want to appear in every magazine before i die.

Lololol. That's a joke. It's not really my dream. My dream is to be very very rich by doing the things i love to do. And have soooo much money, i can buy a few big houses. Get the people i love anything they want. This is my dream. You know why?

Becox if i am that rich, i can then appear on Singapore Tatler and Prestige lolol. Kidding~

Anyway~~ I AM SOOOO HAPPY!!! I am going to JB tomorrow ^.^ With Mich and Monkey and Josh. We four gonna eat and walk and shop JB like never before. OMG I AM SOOOO SAD!!! I haven't get to go to the Hello Kitty town in JB =((( I want to go leh.

Anyway~ Haha.

Saw these pictures by chance and snapped them all with my iPhone in hope to keep them forever haha. Just wanna show you guys how i look like as a kid =)

I love to look at old pictures. To laugh at them. Or just feel good about being a better person now. Or reflect a little on how to be a better person.. Like.. Those qualities you lose as you grow older.

I think i am a nicer person now but i was much more.. How to say. Like i was nicer back then unconditionally. Now i'm not sure. I just think a lot of things and relationships become conditionally. Like.. "I like you as a friend only becox you..", "I'd help you so long as you..", "I love you for.."

You know. Things like that.

Anyway~ This is me ^.^ Haha. I think it could be on Chinese New Year. I don't remember.
Me out with my dad ^.^ Hahaha. Seriously, always have faith in your kid that he / she can grow double eyelids. Hahaha. AND, NEVER EVER EVER CUT YOUR DAUGHTER'S HAIR SHORT.

I'd like to think that short hair made me extra unpopular in kindergarten *ANGRY FACE* Whoever made me cut short hair last time.. I hate you. Hahaha.

Where will i be..?

Hello!!! Very bothered by the haze / by people talking about the haze right?

In case you haven't seen this, THIS is what a senior Indonesian minister said to Singapore. You know how in life, there are people who just don't get it and will never get it? No matter how much you try to knock sense into them. No matter how much you want to help them.

They just don't get it. So i've gotten over it, that some people are just meant to be like that forever. But we stand strong and we will get through this, okay!

We Singaporeans help each other, and remind the people around you to drink more water, wear a mask whenever outdoor. Stay indoor as much as we can. Get an air purifier. We do what we can.

I got so panicky today cox i was worried the situation will not get better and worried about my dad and the babies around me. You know what harm PSI above 300 can do to old folks and kids?

It's hazardous. Great danger, involving great risk - We are all going through great danger and great risk. Our father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, kids in the house. 天理何在?

And then my sister have to go to the hospital today due to asthma attack, pretty sure it's the haze cox even inhaler couldn't help her. I just don't understand how any part of this is "acting like a child" when we're just gan jeong and concerned about our health and about the safety of our loved ones.

You know what i really think?

I think the main difference is how different people from different places value and see life.

Our life here is good. We own ourselves a living. We make good money and we have a lot to lose. It's (almost) like everyone is useful to the society in more than one way. And we VALUE LIFE.

Be very proud of it, people.

Can't say the same for the value of the life of people who can just brush it off by making irresponsible statement of situations that can potentially endanger the health and life of others.

And for any Indonesians that might be reading this, once and for all, i have nothing against you guys. It's only people who are actually responsible for allowing the forest fire to take place for better crop, YEAR AND YEAR again, those are the people i (and i guess most Singaporeans) am upset about.

Oh and, let's not forget your very diplomatic senior minister, Agung Laksono. The things he say, are disregarding to the health hazard we are facing, like it's nothing to him.

Pfffffff. Whatever, really. Let's not get dirty with dirt.

Anyway!!! Just wanna give a quick shoutout!

This Saturday i'd be filming Budget Barbie at SCAPE flea =D I'd be there 2pm and filming should take around two hours. If you're around the area, come say hi okay =))) (Filming CANCELLED due to the haze).

27th (Thurs) i'd be giving a talk in Singapore Poly O.O With the people from Nuffnang. Quite nervous cox i used to study in Singapore Poly =S I.. Didn't do very well hahahah. But see you guys!!! Anyone studying there?!?! =DDD Let me know!!! See you 1pm - 3pm!

28th (Sat) i'd be celebrating my birthday! YIPPEEE~ The whole "smokey" effect would be really romantic~ I will draw smokey eyes to match the theme okay!!!

30th (Sun) i'd be at an exciting store opening and i'm quite sure there will be great discount and promotion!!! Stayed tuned for more details on this one and i am excited to see you guys!!!

So.. You know what this means? THIS MEANS I NEED THE FREAKING HAZE TO BE NOT AS BAD AS NOW AH BOH I WILL APPEAR EVERYWHERE IN MASK *RAGE FACE*

Becox if the haze gets any worst, i can't even figure out where i am already.
